During the September 2024 UN High-Level Meeting on AMR in New York, the AMR Action Fund worked with FP Analytics to run a simulation with a diverse group of stakeholders that highlighted the complex policy, financial, and public health challenges posed by outbreaks of antibiotic-resistant bacteria. The event drew participants from government ministries, NGOs, and industry, and netted key takeaways, including the need for improved diagnostics and surveillance data, coordinating efforts across sectors, and pull incentives to drive sustainable investment in clinical-stage R&D.
